There are five kinds of Autism, which is why ithey are referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs).

The three main types of autism are:

• Classic Autism
• Asperger's Syndrome (AS)
• Pervasive Developmental Disorder- Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS)

There are also two rare Autism disorders:

• Rett syndrome (RS)
• Childhood Disintegrative Disorder(CDD)

Dr. Andrew Wakefield, is the British physician who claimed in the mid-90s that there was a link between the MMR vaccine and Autism.

Over the years, his research has been disproven a number of times and even Dr. Wakefield claims his theory is an unproven hypothesis.

Still, there are people who claim that there's a link and that vaccines are the root of all Autism evil. Read the facts here.
